Review by hotel critic
During our recent Christmas trip to Berlin, we stayed at Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The location in Mitte is fantastic; you're just a stone's throw away from iconic attractions and trendy shops. The moment we checked in, staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made us feel at home despite it being a big property. We had 7 rooms for our family group and the kids absolutely loved the quirky decor influenced by the local arts scene, particularly the vibrant works of the Klub7 collective. Our rooms were nicely sized, with modern amenities like comfortable seating areas and large flat-screen TVs - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One highlight was the breakfast: a bountiful spread of healthy options to kick-start our days of sightseeing. And can I just mention the views from the bar on the top floor? Enjoying dinner with a stunning panorama of Berlin was a treat that elevated our experience even further! So, if you're after a modern, family-friendly base for exploring the city, I'd highly recommend Motel One - it truly captures the spirit of Berlin.
